Well I guess I lied in my most recent blog post, I absolutely broke during winter break. I think since I spent more time at home, I wasn't able to check in with other people about their vegetarian habit change and reflect about how difficult it was together. I didn't have anyone else that was doing this with me and I was surrounded by meat products. It had taken a toll on me before but not as bad as this. So I had meat, I didn't think too much of it. I though that I was allowed to have meat again since I went a couple weeks without it. So I guess habit change isn't my strong suit but that doesn't mean I can't take another shot at it. While I read an article about 6 Factors that influence our behavior, I noticed that the most important factor that apply to me was Knowledge and Skills. I didn't really know what I was doing. So the midpoint of this horrid but enlightening experience, and now it took a turn for the worst. after a couple of weeks I noticed a downward trend in my daily health such as a series of headaches every other day. Although I wanted to continue my streak of no meat but it became too much. When I went to go eat some really good tacos, I felt a lot of relief to finally have meat. I intend to get back on track but while going through the withdrawal stage of being vegetarian I am not very optimistic that I can get back on track. I have read an article about how America uses it's land. The most astonishing data point in this visual is the fact that we use 654m acres for pasture/range. Which means that we are using most of our land to produce meat for our country as well use up tons of other resources in the process. So if this project were to end today, I think I may not continue it but I think that I will definitely cut back on the amount of beef that I eat as it is the worst ki...
