Well I failed.....

I went two weeks without meat and I'll be honest it wasn't the worst thing in the world. The hardest part about this was just being around meat and when my family cooked some kind of meat for a meal. I think that if I was able to live on my own and not be surrounded by a potential meal with some kind of meat product then I would be able to accomplish this feat.

While on my two week torture, I thought about the actual purpose of what I was putting myself through. I found a vegetarian calculator that showed me the results of my remarkable two weeks of being vegetarian.

These results made me feel good about what I have achieved of the past two weeks and it has slightly motivated me to continue on this vegetarian journey. I realized the crazy impact that I can have on my carbon footprint. Meanwhile I realized the impact that the whole world can have if we all went vegetarian (but that's a little too crazy). I think that we could definitely make a strong impact on the environment

In turns out that in one year my environmental impact can be substantial. Imagine if the whole world went vegetarian, while that sounds like a nightmare straights from hell, We can potentially save the world from the current trend of global warming and pollution.
While all this information about how my personal environmental impact seems motivational in the long run, I think that I will continue to struggle with keeping up on this diet. It's something that I want to do for the environment but I think that all humans were born selfish and I really want to be selfish right now and have some meat.
